About Ragasave Labs
Our Mission, Values & Founder's Story
Who We Are
Ragasave Labs is an independent utility software lab founded and maintained by Rahul Varma. We design lightweight, high-utility, and local-first applications built for individuals, freelancers, and small business owners who are tired of bloated corporate subscription platforms.
Our design philosophy is anchored in simplicity: whenever we notice unorganized systems, repetitive manual tasks, or overpriced developer modules, we build a clean, focused, single-purpose application to resolve them.
Our Core Core Pillars
- Friction-Driven: Every tool is born from a daily huddle, a direct gap observed in local industries (like tracking materials for renovations), or software that has been needlessly over-commercialized.
- Local-First: We believe you shouldn't have to trust third-party servers with your private budgets, client directories, or files. Your information resides on your device first.
- Zero Bloat: We do not write bulky, all-encompassing systems. We code the core 10% features that solve 90% of the friction, keeping load speeds near-instantaneous.
The Engineering Journey
Before taking a dedicated career break to focus on independent utility product validation, Rahul engineered enterprise-scale systems for leading tech firms.
Ragasave Labs Relaunched & Career Break
Focused on bootstrapping local-first utility tooling. Designed and launched Vault Track (budgeting and warehouse logging), CCTV AI Counter (local edge YOLO object segmentation), and Disk Master (indexing and media optimizer).
Ragasave Paused & Corporate Career
Operations were paused to focus on large-scale enterprise development. Architected distributed validation platforms scanning millions of assets at Adobe Systems (Senior Software Engineer, 2023-2026) and co-engineered microservices deployed at SAP (2021-2023).
Ragasave First Founded & Early Utilities
Established Ragasave to construct early automation scripts, open-source packages, and custom developer wrappers. Later deployed client backends at StrideFuture Technologies and Acetrot, and built the resource coordination app TheMediSpot during the COVID-19 pandemic.
University of Mumbai
B.Sc. in Information Technology. Nominated for "The Best Project" in the cohort. Active contributor to jQuery, Laravel, and other open-source packages.
Let's Build Together
Ragasave Labs is powered by feedback. If you have an app idea, noticed a software utility that is costing too much, or discovered a bug, send an email directly to ragasave@gmail.com. Let's make software accessible, lightweight, and clean.
